We are currently attending her puppy preschool classes (and did so with our now 4 year old dog). The classes are really well run and organised with plenty of play/socialisation opportunities, but this is structured so the pups don’t get overwhelmed. Leone explains really well how dogs learn which definitely helps with that early training. We also had Leone come to our home for a private consult, which was fantastic as it allowed us to focus on a couple of issues and get a really in depth understanding of how to move forward with training our puppy. I have participated in lessons she has held whereby she has assisted in training my dog, and others, to sniff out various objects which are hidden from the dogs sight. I found that not only did my dog, Molly, enjoy this activity but so did I. It also gave Molly a much needed outlet for her natural exuberance and tired her. She not only has been helpful with these games to play but also sorted out minor problems we have encountered when out walking Molly and meeting other dogs......addressing some of our fears.
